Seven years ago I left my career as a marketing VP in the homebuilding industry to be a stay-at-home mom. Little did I know that I would soon have a full-time job finding out everything I could about Parry Romberg Syndrome! My sister Patty, calls me a "Mother Warrior" and I guess that is what I have become. No one fights harder for their children than a mother. We are their advocates. We are their voice...and if we don't fight for them, who will?
My husband, Jeff and I live in Northern California, near family and friends, where we are happily raising our three beautiful children; Hank, Charlie and Lucy. I have learned that life can change in an instant and yet feel blessed in so many ways. So although this seems to be the hardest time of my life, it is also the happiest.

August 2013: Things have changed. I have resumed my position with my former company...and we are back to living on the Central Coast of California. Our dedication to Hank and finding a cure for his disease has not waned...we continue to fight the fight for his health, happiness and well being!
